HA, yer rocking out with yer cock out, and you don't hear the snow go WHUMP underfoot, yikes mp3 player is key for slogs though, i take one that uses the same type of memory as my digi cam, that way if i need some more space i can sacrifice the tunes for picts or vice versa.

me thinks also that terrain/location determines wether a GPS will be usefull, on the west side of the slopes the density of the tree canopy makes gpsr worthless sometimes... suppose you could get above treeline to get reception, just another thought though. If you do take a gps, always mark where your rig is, that's helped me out once or twice.

i gots me one of dem fancy samsung phones, i got full colored vids, space invaders and bowling, and tetris. a great way to pass time waiting for the choppers to pick you up. I just got one of the gecko garmin gps recievers. thing is tiny and light, and is really easy to use. I always have my gps with me, never know when one will have the urge to geocache

I think we may be on the verge of an activity for rope up, I feel my ass fust is pretty bomb, anyone who has done anything with me can vouch for that. i say the morning after the first night of rope up, we have an ass busting contest. rating/scoring can be based on the following: length of wind volume of the blast facial expressions during passing of said gas and of course scent the winner would get a travel size set of wet-naps to clean themselves with. i'm in, who else wants a piece of the action. trask will be the judge

isn't he just the cutest? the pup's are up here at work today, took them for a morning jaunt up on the chosspile. they found about 4 dead snaffles, and managed to find the nastiest pond to jump in. Gotta love dogs, they always remind me to not take things too seriously.

CHINOOK, aka CHUBNOOK, in his environment (say that like crock hunter). this big dumb beast lets out a loud bark whenever a noise is anywhere near our house. It's a deep, LOUD, WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOF, enough to scare the creepiest of creeps. If someone enters he'd bark and go at their crotch for a sniff, this would prolly scare most folks.

I keep a chinook in my house
