i was there 3 weeks ago. Lotsa snow and ice on the routes we were looking at. e-mail from a friend who is there indicates that the conditions have improved but you're still going to find a lot of ice coating the rocks at higher elevations.

important question! it depends on how you define rest day i guess. for me it usually involves some activity that is much much different from what i've been doing daily. ie. go for a swim instead of a run or a climb. BUT sometimes...there's just gotta be a day when i do Nothing...and i mean nothing. I can feel these days coming on. Usually when i find myself for 3 or more days dreading the thought of any type of work out or activity i just bag it for a day or two. Seems to be enough.

it's the spandex...man chicks don't dig the spandex . that's gonna be a hard reputation to lose. i mean sucking on a gaping wound, being broke (you're a climber you should still be getting laid right?) being horribly disfigured, EVEN posting on cc.com....all these can be over looked but have you no self respect???
