I disagree, actually; by it's very nature, any decision made (or not made) would be independent if one was the last person on earth. Even the decision to not make a decision right away is an independent decision if you are all alone in the world. It's so obvious, how could you have missed it? maybe my grasp of the obvious is what it should be sarcasm is a wonderful thing eh?

atta boy traskie! now be a good dog and leave me alone and go curl up w/your chew toy or something. Mt. Formidable wasn't quite the type of climb i had in mind...nice effort though. i think that i could cut the team total session time down from erik's estimates which might make that climb a nice idea the approach to big snow may thwart my weenier partner but that's not a bad call. any other suggestions are encouraged but it may not matter as my partner keeps making friday a shorter and shorter climbing day

i'm looking for something moderate and alpine to climb on friday. it needs to be car to car in one day, more than 2 or 3 pitches, 5.6ish and not at WA Pass. what are some of your favorites?

as i sit back and think about this weekend, at first i was thinking "boy what a strange weekend." lots of weird and frustrating things came up. in the end, really i think it turned out to be one of the more fun and relaxing weekends in a while. it started with a total change in some long set plans to spend it at the lake and ended w/a fun alpine climb, a nice evening of cragging, a pleasant hike, and a semi-alpine climb. a weekend with lots of variety climbs...old familiar ones, long forgotten ones, new challenging ones and just a fun non-climb. i got to spend time w/new friends, rekindled relations, and great old friends. hope y'all had as much fun as i did! thanks to all those who added to a great w/e what'd the rest of you do?
