Bob is not god, and bob needs to quit worrying about other climbers and what they think is hard or not...Ranting about some hosers on a route like pleasant pheasant is pointless...who really cares? If they were havin' a good time, fine, if they weren't, that's fine too (and should provide a good opportunity to enjoy the show, covertly, of course )...no reason to stress over it, people think and do what they want...just go climbing...

Hey... One point for Pope is that bolting a multipitch route into a "chicken" route WILL increase traffic to said route...increasing traffic will affect trails, parking, littering, etc. Necessary evil or not, is another question...

i am sure that BB and others spend tons of time and money to make these places what they are today. just because they are not world class areas doesn't mean we shouldn't give people a little respect for their hard work. How much of your own time and money have you spent there? Seems like too often climbers expect perfectly maintained crags without giving any thought about the time and effort donated by a few to make it that way. well put, cman! Said poster can f-off...

i'm not making fun either!! i think he went "mental" on the route last year and needed some space because he began falling at random spots...time off from the route is all he needs before he sends!

For a rock climbing gumby such as myself, it is pretty good. Nice pictures and descriptions of each area. If you know the area already you don't need it, but it is nice to have some one's opinion as to the ratings of each route. If you don't know the area, it can definitely point you directly to the fun stuff for your skill level...
