  1. will there be call-ins? ask him to beta-test his bindings before he puts 'em out on the shelves or at least buy out another company to take care of the problem.
  2. agreed, spaced just enough to maybe keep you alive and prevent you from littering a wilderness area with your femur. Much of that stuff was pioneered by the same folks who put up those ice axe/piton "routes" on Three Fingered Jack.
  3. Or Victor Wooten of the Flecktones. They will be at the Zoo this summer. They are not what they used to be but worth checking it out.

  5. cool, just seems like a lot of folks have been hitting the sandy hw in the past few years.
  6. Funny how washington climbers without fail head for the SGH since it's the only decent Hood route in Nelson/Potterfield Now with Yocum in the new edition that will be the only other route WA's do now. As for skis, I skied the old chute that day, it wasn't worth it . I got up there too early, got bored waiting for the sun to finally do some work, so it was a bulletproof affair with atrocious runout. Bringing skis to the saddle at least, however, is mandatory. Nice work.
  7. yes and please don't get injured up there it is a pain in the ass getting a litter up and down that trail. BTW the above photo is rooster rock. there are bolted lines.

  19. Bend, OR is one of the big hubs of geocachers. I haven't tried it but know plenty who have and it's pretty cool. There is even some extreme geocaching on some harder peaks going on out there, so I've heard.
  20. yes I'd rather take my chances on a larger fall than a shorter fall shared by a large flake of rock thank you. but wait, if the rock pulled you'd fall the same distance anyway. so double-up below and climb through
