The City is more angular than the rounded domes of JTree, and there are a number of great routes in the 5.6/5.7 range. I had a great "climbing with the kid" trip there years ago. End of May shouldn't be too hot, and most of the routes have an East or West orientation, so you can chase sun or shade over the course of a day, whichever condition you need.

Peter: there's an alternate (harder) start that comes in from left of the drill mark to join a little over halfway, but I doubt that's what you're thinking of. The drill marks are of surprisingly little use, offering no more than ten or so holds spread over 34 routes, and there aren't any routes devoted to a specific drill line.

I think its a glitch in the photo gallery software, seems like I get messages automatically when someone is banned/unbanned and I haven't heard anything about this, and under the Glassgowkiss banner Bob has been pretty swell to have around. Try it on anyone else in the gallery, odds are you'll get the same result.

Dude, that is so not true. Its my front yard. And its not that unfair since I know at least two other people on the board have done that route, and one of them posted yesterday. And, I have mentioned the name of the route before, so it is on the board somewhere. I'd sort of expect the EncyloDRUdica to be able to regurgitate the factoid, but I suppose its a relief to know that he has his limitations.
