10/4 - day 41 - keeeerist, the fall fell down like a fucking bear trap on the balls some time ago it seems, and awful early too - nastia a bit waylaid by portland traffic - beacon's base looking a good bit like the argonne after old alvin york's big day - blasted tree debris all about the forest floor, the remnants of last weekend's big windstorm and great goddamn deluge - fresh broken blocks - oozing gashes on the upper edges of trees on grassy ledges - still a bit damp but it'll be a good weekend for clambering - we did the bastard warrior, finishing up just as dusk descended 10/5 - douglas adams day! - winter's upon the wall, albeit its adolescent, easy face - pure sunlight streaming through but somewhat weak - strong winds - battle debris from the week gone by all astrew - 3 laps on the corner then home for an afternoon w/ the kids n' wife n' parents

i had sex w/ a woman once wearing only crocs - does that make me half gay?

isn't tea the beverage of choice for euro-fag-liberal-surrender monkeys? i'd think good red-blooded freedom-defenders would prefer to be the "coffee party" - or would that be wierd, since not one coffee-colored person would actually be in the party? and sure, i know what you're thinking - there's ONE dark face in that crowd! but if you look more carefully, you can clearly see she's lost

george takei is the gayest man to ever emerge from the land of the geisha, and it's a well known fact he n' john wayne shared a trailer in the steamy environs of fort benning during the filming of "the green berets"
-
"john wayne's not dead, he's sleeping"

i've been working on this idea for a master's thesis in poli-sci, essentially that you can take the pulse of the american conservative population by counting the # of titties that appear in the daily "features and faces" panel of fox's website - there's usually 12-14 panels, and the typical day sees an average of 3.2 panels sporting hawties - this past tuesday at one point it was the highest number i've yet recorded, 10 when primates get all excited, how they do like to pound the pud

john wayne might not have been gay, but certainly, like reagan, anybody who fetishizes on him is deep, deep republican ghey

when i worked as a line-slave in an all-black restaruant back east my street name was "six six!" teaching in a damn near all-black school i was repeatedly awarded the honor of "whitest man in america" (and frequently mistaken as a cop) as a youth, while mowing the south forty at my father's command, i jammed out with my walk-man, alternating tapes of public enemy w/ the soundtrack for les mis, all to the drone of roaring motor - beat that bitch

elvis was a hero to most but he never meant nothing to me mother-fucker was racist straight out and plain mother fuck him and john wayne!!! ready to go 'cuz i'm hyped and i'm amped, most of my heroes never appeared on no stamps

isn't this why the founders choose to make us a republic instead?

the past couple years i've used as a class warm-up a pic of the westboro baptist folks doing their thing paired w/ mencken: "the problem w/ defending human freedom is you almost always end up defending scoundrels"
-
hard not to like mencken: "nobody ever went broke underestimating the taste of the american people"
-
uprope you cum-guzzler!!!

winston smith had much bigger worries than the gubmit knowing how often and how long he talked with achmed on his mobil

funny, mine has me on her *blocked* list now i think the nsa stuff is skerry b/c yeah, every politician is pretty much for it, in practice if not in principle - the politics of fear, of being "soft on whatever" continues to be a problem, and i have not the first inkling of how to make it go away. to some extent though, maybe it's good enough that so many folks are concerned about data-mining and the like - it doesn't sound like the orwellian-nightmare has become a reality yet (thus who think so really should reread 1984), despite all the tools required for it being there, and while some of the shit that has come to light is distressing, it could get a lot worse, no?

i disagree - boehner's the 2nd of like a bakers goddamn dozen kids and ran the family bar as a wee-un - he probably killed his first man w/ a busted beer bottle at age 9 pelosi could probably take bone-boy, if only b/c, shortly after having killed each other, she rose from the dead w/ the same creeptacular smile plastered to her grill i'm not sure kerry could have beat powell, let alone rice biden v cheney would be a texas-steel-cage-death-match and i'd pay premium prices to see that and get drunk as a lord during it rumsfeld just is the devil, so it's not fair to pair him w/ any humanoid arne duncan could surely have taken that panty-waste spelling if the democrats have to pick any man to settle this shit, gladiator-style, i'm going w/ eric holder - if i cursed him in a dream, i'd wake up and apologize i think the republican to watch in this scenario is barbara fucking "quayle-monster" bush, assuming she can put nancy reagan in the corner in the primary

In fact, every single action you mention above had legislative approval and was voted on in Congress. You can accuse Bush of practicing populism, opportunism, or even lying to game the system. But Obama often acts like he is "above" the system--especially with regard to Syria and the NSA scandal. that was my point - despite democratic oppostion, the congress still showed up for work under bush and no democrat tried to stop funding for the whole government just to get at the iraq war, for example - i do agree though that they used other mechanisms to gum up the system, i.e. preventing votes to confirm presidential appointees, and that shit, like the filibuster itself, needs to be moved into the scrap heap the problem w/ the nsa and national security in general seems to me to be more that no one, even the president, seems to be controlling it - christ, what president of late, red or blue, hasn't used war powers w/o congressional approval? i did, in fact, write a strongly worded email to obama a few weeks back asking him to consult the congress before attacking syria, as obviously a helluva lot of other libturds too.
-
actually, that sounds a lot like what they did! war in afghanistan? check. iraq? sure why not? patriot act? kewl. leave no child's behind? right. TARP? okay. bottom line is, o-care has plenty of the sloppy bj's they were demanding. no single payer and an demand that everybody have to buy, funneling most of the cash into private companies. they just had to cut and run in the end b/c....
-
you can always write a strongly worded email to john boner

i dunno, i seem to recall obama all but dry-humping republican legs to get the ACA passed to begin w/, compromising like a mother-fucker and pissing off his base somethign fierce, and was making decent progress too until the tea party revolution made it so not a single elephant in the congress could politically afford to be in the same room as him
