NO SHOW TUNES OR YOU HAVE TO PUT ME ON THE PAYROLL. Now, a little soothing number from the Ramones, "Teenage Lobotomy" LO-BO-TO-MY!!!

Last time I checked there was no guide for Tieton, is there one now? As a sporto weenie type, a current guide would be great. As previously stated, the rock forms up just like columnar basalt, but you don't find huge chunks in your hands that used to be, er, holds, unlike the loose basalt at FC. FC=helmet all of the time Tieton=helmet only when you feel like it, and it is not necessary.

My MEC Shoeller Dryskin Jacket (model is the Ferrata) is wind- and water-resistant. Can't tell you how well it works in winter conditions yet, as I bought it in the summer. So far though I've had it in light rain and moderate wind (sailing) and it's performed like a champ. Water beads right off. Not as cool as the Arc'Teryx softshells, but I think with the exchange rate I paid $82 for mine. Manageable. SK, you're probably not going to find one jacket that does everything. You've got to look at your clothes as, pardon the media-invented term, 'layering system.'For what it's worth though, most of the layers don't have to cost you the sun and the moon.

Double ditto, got my instep crampons today. -
We're probably going to neeed more instruction than that. Help us Timm@y! Be plab! In related news, a major toy manufacturer worked out all of its shady accounting problems today, stocks soared, all of the laws were reinterpreted by one industrious law student, the Sub Teacher pool was at last full, two kids in Eugene got fed real food, and I got four naps in, between the parade, the poster signing, the rally, and of course the Memorial Birthday Labor Dispute. You know who you are, chatters.

Actually 78. I know, I look a little young for my age, it's all of that clean living....hey anyone got a smoke?

Oh, man, SORRY Fern, forgot about the Canadian contingent....I owe you a beer next time. I was thinking, hmmmmmm, who else is there? I don't think Anna has been mentioned yet either, until now. That bring us to a grand total of...eleven. Sorry guys, there aren't even enough of us to fill up a calendar. Maybe there's a reason for that? [ 09-12-2002, 03:45 PM: Message edited by: allison ]

Well, I'm right here, but I'm going to run some errands. Shall I ring you when I get back to the mansion?
-
That is SO weird! Glad it all worked out!
-
I'm not saying don't work out, for god's sake I worked out for hours on end with casts on both ankles one summer, but NOT the broken bones. Other body parts. Bones heal way differently than soft tissue as perviously stated, which is why Picabo was doing leg curls right after having tissue work done. The advice about finding a sports med PT who woks with athletes (or ballet dancers) is good though, if you've got the resources these types will get you back in the game faster than and HMO by a long shot.

Hey, methinks it's time for a little chat. All are welcome, especially if you are FUNNY.

Ah, Petey, I'm right here, darling! Right where I have always been! For Petey, King Crimson in the 'Discipline' era: -
We had a thin turnout at Pub Club Seattle this week too. Many of the usual suspects were in attendance. As usual 009 did some amusing and moderately outrageous things for our entertainment. Alex, you've got to come to one of these Seattle ones. We MUST discuss sailboat racing over beers. I beleive the term I am looking for is 'bench racing', that's what the motorcycle guys call it anyway.

I've got the Arroyo, which is the Pinnacle in a 30 degree, and it is rock solid, very nice bag, couldn't be happier. Would I buy the Pinnacle or the Helium? I think I'd pick the Helium with the knowledge that a bag this lightweight might not be the most durable piece in the world.

Probably for about three more years. By saying I'm 39, it makes me look really young for my age. When I hit 39, I plan to say I'm 43 for a while.

I never run into any problems with 'chat hacks', we just boot 'em if they aren't funny enough! Speaking of which.....anybody game? I'm just back from Club Pub, and full of beer and really funny stories....NOT.

Perhaps not, but I'm also not petty or mean-spirited, nor do I take myself too seriously! PS. Going in and editing your post so that my name is misspelled does not add to the ambiance. [ 09-11-2002, 09:23 AM: Message edited by: allison ] -
Yeah, it's something like that. Has a hard time finding the tracks. Also having commercial CDs skip or drop out from time to time. Enough spray, what ever should I do?

Heywood, your new screen name veils your identity only slightly less than your last one. And attacking me is only making it that much more obvious. Heywood, buzz off!
