A trio of climbers got rescued off the NEB on Sunday by Chilliwack SAR with a heli longline. Your weekend didn't suck as much as theirs did, that's for sure. Story's on Instagram if anyone cares to look.

Falcon Crest 6 pitch route (Labour Day) is significantly overgrown as of yesterday. And has peregrine chicks in situ near the top based on the screeching I heard.

And when is Dwayner gonna climb 5.13? a decade plus ago he said he could climb any 5.13 with enough time to practice. Is a decade plus enough time or do we have to wait until he's mummified?

It'd have to be either pretty contrived or heavily gardened, as the top of Speedway is pretty much where you run out of clean rock and get into fuzzy slab meadows.

Most of it blew out during a rain-on-snow in February. Rest is gone now. Buttress is still pretty wet/mixed but has been climbed
