Ooops, One climb per weekend, one of the climbs in one weekend, and that is certainly not that ambitious at all.

I'm on a road trip south, Utah and Yosemite, but I need some info on where some cool places to climb are? When I say cool, I mean somewhere I won't have ball sweat dripping down my leg and all over my sticky rubber as I try to make a crux move. Yosemite might be too hot and I'll probably end up in Tuolumne while climbing in that area. Red rocks, Indian Creek, Moab, and J-tree will be too hot, no way I could go to these places. Is City of Rocks, Maple, or American Fork in the shade and cool? How about the Needles, Ca?

come on now. use your head, how good are the bolts? how good is the webbing? How far apart are the bolts? There is no need to be a safety Nazi about two bolts and webbing that are in excelent condition when repelling

You can french free the 10c if need be. and when the book says that it is 10c or 11a, it is only 10c. The 11a is a optional pitch on #3, in my opinion you should do this optional pitch, and if you cannot do it, than forget about the 10c up higher, because the 10c is harder and more sustained than the one move wonder of an 11a

Alpine K is right. If you can't solo 3rd and 4th class comfortably, you should be golfing not climbing. I would strongly suggest that you don't even simulclimb, because simmulclimbing is like soloing, it is a mandatory no fall situation.(unless an emergency came up, like you were off route) I don't want to be the one to carry your ass off the mountain! So get comfortable climbing in your 3/4 or full shank boots at the crag, but don't ruin someone elses weekend, by belaying each pitch or having to be rescued because of a simulclimb fall! Go simmulclimb Givlers Crack, but don't rain on my parade!

When I find lots of people sitting around staring at atop rope dangling from the wall, as tope ropers do all too often(Classic crack,etc.) I just solo it until someone ties in. I don't find this to be ruder than dangling your rope from the wall for an hour without anyone climbing.

Stupid me.......forgot to mention I'm going to the Canadian Rockies

I am heading to Lake louise, banff, icefields parkway, golden BC. Lake Louise is the eppicenter of the general area I'll be visiting.

I need to get some beta on the cheeepest places to stay in the rockies, also I have looked everywhere for the new and old edition of the guide book and have found it nowhere...and I mean nowhere! I'm sure some hostels are cheaper than others, which are the goodies.

I'm done with school from the March 19th through April 1st. This west coast ice sucks. Anyone want to go to the Rockies for a week or so and climb that good plastic stuff. Pan Dome is in, fat, and blue. Need I say more. Oh....I almost forgot, I climbed it on thursday, the 28th of Feb. Yes, this was yesterday for all you space cadets out there.

nothin but school to skip, and time to kill, squamish is 1 and 1/2 hours away and so is index. But lillooet would certainly be ambitious.

O.K. Caveman, since all of us have to sit here and listen to your insane aggression toward lambone, at least tell us what the beef is!

Anyone free on tues for a day of rock, or a day trip up to lillooet? It should be freezing up there from tonight until then... I think? Index, squamish, lillooet? Whatever, lets climb!
