What on earth are you talking 'bout, "No one seemed to mind"? Are you off your rocker? He was almost impeached! Plus no one thought what he did was cool. It was horrible for Democrats also. They just didn't think it was an impeachable crime, and rightfully so.

I don't know what point I made for you, but I'd like to take a shot at the list: 1. No 2. No 3. No 4. Yes 5. Yes (Yes) 6. No support needed. 7. No support needed. That's your interpretation. I don't personally believe his FIRST duty is to protect Americans. From where do you glean this fancitude? Plus, much of the current debate rightfully centers on whether or not his actions DO protect americans, or simply american business interests. There is a difference. As far as Sept. 11 goes, I believe Jesus would have counseled for attempts at understanding and wisdom before knee-jerk militancy. His whole approach towards life was aimed at gaining wisdom, something this administration cares nothing about. Also, Jesus wasn't suicidal, although some might consider him as such. I am not an Atheist. I think such a view is exactly as fanciful as Theism. I do believe in many values espoused by Christianity, along with many (if not ALL) values of Buddhism (core Theravadan and Mahayanan), along with many values from many other sources, which often point very much in the same direction. So I DON'T agree with you when you call me a hypocrite for injecting religion/spirituality into this; I believe it is important to do so.

Do you really think Jesus would have supported the bombing raids in Afghanistan, and a pre-emptive strike in Iraq, with teh resultant civilian and other casualties? You are madder than I thought! Jesus wasn't much of a nationalist, from what I remember.

It is true, My penis is happy. It smiles and winks, with poems so sappy. But I'm afraid its smile would turn to a frown upon seeing a lard ass on a midget clown.

If I spelt like you, they'd half to shoote me.

What I find weird is that I believe some Republican (and other) politicians truly do believe themselves to be Christians, yet so often act with total disregard for Christian ethics and morality. What's up with that?

Tonasket's where my wife's from!

Pretty much, and Skaha's close.

It don't take answers to run for office, only pliant stupidity. As a matter of fact, ever thought of running?

Hey, good for him. Now help save America, and impeach.

He has that air about him, but I can't help but like him. He's got a depth of feeling that he carries, even if stumbling.

So I went to see About Schmidt yesterday. I think the entire cast had a lot of fun! But damn if Nicholson can be a ham-fisted actor sometimes. Watching him convulse through the first half of the film was like watching Trask attempting to hold a rational train of thought. And I thought Nicholson was a "good" actor! But I shore did like the movie, and I'd recommend it to everyone. Poignant, and sensitive, for the sensitive type.

That is so awesome! Where did you find it? I was searching for that for a long time, but finally, like things will do, it just disappeared. What's up with that? So basically, internationalism wins the day, again. Cheers.

Hey, another good point, one that often gets overlooked in daily life. But it's easy to do, with our busy schedules and stuff, cuz we have to work. But, good luck anyway. Cheers.

I always found it necessary to do all sorts of pre-run type things, just to get ready. Then I would usually be pain-free. This dodn't always work, and then there would be some papin, but otherwise it would be ok. Basically, just to avoid. So ankle flexibility is really important. Which really sucks, if you're trying to avoid pain. Good luck!

I think the parents should simply patrol themselves, much like big business will under Bush's environmental plans. (Alright. So the guy's a big fat stinking hypocrite, is he not? If not, please explain.) But, if we are to address one issue at a time, would income verification not be a good idea? My question is if there is ANY evidence of malfeasance on a level that would warrant the cost of implementing a verification program. (Muffy, so how many SUV drivers have you seen letting the schools feed their kids? Hmmm... Just as I thought.)

And one more thing. From everything I've read, prior to '91, Iraqis enjoyed one of the highest (THE highest?) standards of living in middle east arab countries. It was very modernized, with a sizable middle class, and most people seemingly happy with their lot in life. The Iran war was a major drain, as was Saddam's dictatorial leadership for many, but overall, life seemed ok. Then they attacked Kuwait (we have attacked countries with far less provocation than what the Kuwaitis offered to Iraq). It was a "mistake" for which they certainly paid. How long should they keep paying, is my question. Let the inspectors continue their work, certify them disarmed when appropriate, and then allow them to begin rebuilding their tattered country, for god's sake.
-
First of all, I find it to be amazing that the Iraqis have complied as well as they have. Think about it: They invaded a country (something the US has done many a time), were beaten, absolutely humiliated by that very country (US), had overbearing surrender-terms imposed (read: Treaty of Versailles?), with resultant catastrophic civilian deaths, with conditions that were virtually impossible to comply with. So, fair terms? Hmmmm..... What might they consist of, I wonder.... By the way, are you at all familiar with the pre-Kuwait invasion situation? Are you familiar with the actions of the Kuwaitis? Just curious.
-
We aren't. It's that simple. Our motives have no credibility outside the US, and actually not even overwhelmingly here.
-
I think everyone else is just jealous.
-
Funny, and true! Most of the world would agree! You really think EVERYONE ELSE is wrong, and we're (50% of us!) the only ones that are right? What are the chances of that, MTgoat?

hey quit interrupting people. Me and Trask are having a serious discussion about his anger issues.
