  9. Dude; you've got to be kidding. The Dems have had a super majority for the past year. They could have done anything they fucking wanted to do--and they didn't. So please spare me the nonsense about 'those evil obstructionist Republicans.' My take? Obama, Pelosi, and, to a lesser degree Reid, have turned out to be a little too far left for the fickle constituents of the few remaining mainstream Democrats. Whether you and your tools want to admit it or not, Obama ran as a centrist. You and I both knew he wasn't, and the rest of America is only now realizing a case of buyer's remorse.
  10. Great, fun TR! Don't let the dog haters get you down. Very nice.
  11. but you suck at funny, so all spray-bouts w/ you have to be serious, staid affairs if you wish to engage in lebowski references or pick at puns i'd dig the change though...man. You seem a little tense lately, man. Not to worry though; that beautiful summer vacation teachers get will be here before you know it!

  13. FYI: I didn't "threaten," I simply speculated on the response--since most Americans are against his proposal.
  14. You do understand that "indicted" and "investigated" mean absolutely nothing--except maybe in certain countries whose political systems you seem to adore.
  15. http://www.bbc.co.uk/blogs/thereporters/richardblack/2010/02/forget_the_norfolk_polices_cri.html Governments have now demanded - and will get - an independent review into how the IPCC conducts its work and how well its conclusions stand up to scrutiny. http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/science/nature/8468358.stm The vice-chairman of the UN's climate science panel has admitted it made a mistake in asserting that Himalayan glaciers could disappear by 2035. The Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) included the date in its 2007 assessment of climate impacts. A number of scientists have recently disputed the 2035 figure, and Jean-Pascal van Ypersele told BBC News that it was an error and would be reviewed. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-1250872/Climategate-U-turn-Astonishment-scientist-centre-global-warming-email-row-admits-data-organised.html "Colleagues say that the reason Professor Phil Jones has refused Freedom of Information requests is that he may have actually lost the relevant papers. Professor Jones told the BBC yesterday there was truth in the observations of colleagues that he lacked organisational skills, that his office was swamped with piles of paper and that his record keeping is ‘not as good as it should be’. The data is crucial to the famous ‘hockey stick graph’ used by climate change advocates to support the theory."
  16. Of course. But as we saw in the recent Heller case, there are limits to the limits.
  17. ...but the Second Amendment does. That said, I would propose that using a firearm against an animal in a national park should be a crime--even for self defense. When you venture out in to the wilds, acceptance of certain risks goes with the territory. So why bring a gun into a national park? To protect against those rare but unfortunate human encounters we read about from time to time.

  19. Funny? This kind of shit is more discredited than George Bernard Shaw and Garrett Hardin. The wrong 'type' of people are out breeding us! Gimme a break.

  23. No response. You're not really gonna make me dig up your quote, are you? Just denounce your messiah as not up to the task, and we'll move on.
