  1. Can't stand either one. But let's face it: some of the 'tards around here absolutely need someone to hate.
  2. Sooner or later you libtards are gonna run out of candidates you can use as mirrors to reflect your own self loathing and unfulfilled dreams. Well, maybe not.
  3. True all that. My guess is that once Mississippians realized that birth control pills don't actually prevent conception and would be banned by the crazies they had second thoughts. I was just pointing out the irony in "MtnGuide's" (hereallyisamountainguidejustaskhim) idiotic premise. It's my latest thing.
  4. Bill Clinton. "Welfare Reform." His idea. Just ask him.
  5. Republican Congress starting in 1994. The tide rose once again. All boats were lifted.
  6. well, unlike you, i don't listen to fox "news". it's not hard to find some simple facts: fact fact fact Apparently, you have difficulty reading your own stats. I'm seeing 20% children in (so-called) poverty and no correlation to national politics. Nowhere do I see the claim you made about US v Iran or the 30% number you burped up. Did you just make them up? As was the case for all children, the percentage of related children with family incomes below the poverty threshold was higher in 2009 (20 percent) than in 2008 (19 percent)The poverty rate for related children has fluctuated since the early 1980s, reaching a peak of 22 percent in 1993 and a low of 16 percent in 2000.
  7. Dude, you need to chill out.
  8. Then why did you come here to live? Seriously. Never mind that you can't provide evidence for any of your assertions; somebody told you what to believe!
  9. The FoxNews take: http://www.foxnews.com/opinion/2011/12/01/can-congress-steal-your-constitutional-freedoms/
  10. Re read, Rob. We're on the same side this time.
  11. Not sure what you're calling "BS" on. Pointing out irony doesn't an argument make.
  12. j_b works for the taxpayers. I am a taxpayer. Get your ass back to work, j_b.
  13. Neither am I. But the employer thing is kind of spooky.
  14. No doubt an MBA is rigorous--didn't mean any disparagement there. Tuition is typically about 40% more than other grad programs as well.(at UW anyhow.) Not sure why--other than limited availability.
  15. Just legalize the shit already. The irony here though is that, thanks to the efforts of gay-marriage advocates, anyone who signs TTKs petition will have their name and address open to public scrutiny--police, employers, family, etc.
  16. Neither an MBA or a MEd typically require the defense of a thesis--a significant hurdle. And while a MS is probably, on the whole, a more difficult undertaking than a thesis-driven MA, I'm not sure you can say it always or necessarily produces a well-rounded graduate. (See mirror for details.)
  17. so....china's evil b/c its expanded it defintion of who's poor by 100%? you woulda been a big herbert hoover supporter back in the day, no? $1 per day! Sounds to me like you support a very limited upper class--and semantics that gloss-over oppression.
  18. Education? Did you look at the list of top-paid state employees? How much does a top neurosurgeon earn in the private sector? or do you feel we can staff one of the top medical program in the country with those who perform near the bottom of their class? Are you a troll? So, let me see if I have this right: You want public salaries to be determined by the market, but you want private salaries to be determined/regulated by government. Wow, you are a real piece of work. In any event, the vast majority of the salaries on that list are non-medical profs with no tenure who are the recipients of higher-ed monopolistic practices. You don't believe in institutional collusion do you? Anyway, I'm off to W-O-R-K. (You should try it!)
  19. i'm sure the irony of a chinese national teaching the virtues of democracy would be lost on your children "A Chinese national?" Kind of a racist frame there, but, regardless, I suspect ChiCom teachings via-a-vis democracy these days aren't too much different than what kids are being taught in, say, your class.
  20. Education? Did you look at the list of top-paid state employees?

  22. By all means, show us the comps for WA State private sector salaries... Of course, Bill Gates' salary isn't taxpayer funded... "Dumbo"??
  23. Since you're lying again, I'll cross-post the 2010 state payroll here as well: http://www.thenewstribune.com/soundinfo/statesalaries/?appSession=334143084561169&RecordID=&PageID=2&PrevPageID=1&cpipage=1&CPISortType=&CPIorderBy=
