  1. Whatever you say, Little Lotta. Sorry Tvash, but I said a little extra adipose. As usual, you miss the concept of moderation and seem content to suck Crisco through a straw while glacier camping, touring cemeteries, and restaurant-hopping.
  2. Not trying to defend anyone, but I feel better climbing at 175lbs than I ever did at 165. My speed is possibly a hair slower, but I don't get the zero-calorie crash and can press on for much longer periods of time without refueling. Overall, I feel better and have more endurance. A little spare fat doesn't hurt endurance/mountaineering IMO. Strength for rock climbing is another matter. I'm sure pulling up and extra 10lbs is not a positive for those who climb beyond 5.9. (I'm not one of those people.)
  3. If Isreal attacks Iran we will see 7 dollar gas by the end of the summer! so much for climbing past I-90 corridor. I guess the only benefit is sound tranist will pass expanded light rail What do you think a gallon of gas will cost if Iran has the geopolitical clout that demonstrated possession of nuclear weapons will bring?
  4. Just out... http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,369465,00.html

  6. Israel. Every right to.
  7. Ya know, I guess I never thought of relating two entirely different topics like that! Amazing. Really gets me to thinkin'. Hey, can I have some of those lemons too?
  8. Sorry, but our constitution provides for "life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness". The old Soviet constitution covered the shelter, food, and job things, I believe. actually, I don't think they did. Chapter X, ARTICLE 118. Citizens of the U.S.S.R. have the right to work, that is, are guaranteed the right to employment and payment for their work in accordance With its quantity and quality. I'll have to look for the food and shelter. I assume you're talking about in practice.

  10. It may be sad--and sometimes ugly--but reward commensurate with innovation and capital risk is what moves a nation forward. Even the Chinese now understand this.
  11. With or without the axles? Aw, you're just upset 'cause your wife's gettin' halfa yours in the decree.
  12. My wife and I purchased our first house in 1987 for $68,500 @ 10.325% interest.
  13. Ain't no house worth that kinda money.
  14. Did the previous owner wrap with Tyvek®?
  15. Before I make a deposit, can you certify there is no dry rot?
  16. Despite the out of control shrubbery in the front yard, the interior is about what one would expect.
  17. I don't know, but if it's just going to go onto the world market and not feed American consumption then I don't see the point. But it's ironic that lib/enviro's don't like: 1.)Oil 2.)Nuclear 3.)Coal 4.)Hydro 5.)Wind ...and their biofuels/ethanol program now threatens to starve people in third world countries. Caves, anyone!
  18. You're kinda dense. Already posted by comrade Prole yesterday. 132 lbs? Be careful; it's getting windy outside.
  19. ...this is a little over the top (from their website headliner today):
  20. I refuse to watch any sport where teams under .500 make the playoff$.
  21. Professional basketball still exists?
  22. Using sarcastic racial epithets to make your point is weak and reveals the true nature of the angry liberal mind. I would say it is you who doesn't "get it".
  23. Above was your original post. Revealing.
