Rethink condensation, it's not a big deal unless you're traversing Antarctica or dogsledding to the north pole. On weekend trips it doesn't matter at all IMO. On longer trips, use a vapor barrier if using down, and always use good weather at-camp time to dry gear out. Sleep under a tarp as much as possible. You can also add tunnel vents to your shelter.

Regarding altruism on the part of a corporation, it just doesn't happen. OP made biners with prison labor because of the bottom line. The prisoners earned 80 cents an hour(I'd have to check the facts, but it wasn't minimum wage) , and OP got tax breaks and other incentives for doing so. Maybe Washington dept of corrections could train prisoners in how to write code, then siphon jobs away from tech industries. Or get call centers going, where prisoners take calls and do marketing. NOT. I'm not against prisoners working. But prisoners packing coffee, making biners, and running call centers as a way to save corporations dollars (and take jobs out of a local economy) is wrong. Give prisoners Sysiphean jobs. In Michigan, the state prison manufacturing program put the largest office furniture manufacturer IN THE WORLD out of business by competing on an unfair playing field. No more Steelcase furniture. I heard someone lamenting the loss of her steelcase desk just last week, complaining about cheap ass fiberboard crap it was replaced with. Prison labor isn't a wholly positive solution.

I believe the Amish are exempt from jury duty. "The Panama Deception" was a documentary that won the Academy Award when it was released. Before winning an Acadamy Award, it was blocked from release in the courts for nearly 10 years by the US government as 'anti government' propaganda. I don't think anyone posting here has seen his 9/11 movie yet.(I haven't)but from the trailers, he's spot on the money. There were members of the Bin Laden family and others allowed to leave the country after 9/11, and the war in Iraq begun with contrived reasons. Michael Moore seeks to expose the failings of the Bush administration. What is objective in in the world nowadays? Fox News? The Nation magazine? Al Jazeera television? Every viewpoint has a perspective. All you pro war, blind patriots are great blue bloods but unable to look at the scandalous elements of the Iraq war. Michael Moore may touch on some of this in his movie. I'm going to go see it. How bad can it be? It won the top prize at Cannes this year. First documentary to win Palm D'Or since Jaques Cousteau's undersea movie from the sixties.
