There is nothing wrong with organizing a slide show that people want to see and broadcasting it for the benefit of both viewers and givers. Whether or not Gary is making the UW climbing Club something that Allison is in disapproval of is probably beyond her mind. If someone doesnt care about a charity or does not feel that it is correct to do any sort of benefit for some charity that Allison is dreaming of because Bush has polluted that charity then they don't have to. Thanks to Gary for outdoing Allison without trying. It's funny when people wanting to be edumacated are grasping at straws to prove themselves and essentially make asses out of themselves.

There is not open hatred towards women here on my part. Gals like Michelle and Holly are prime examples. I like them both and Holly is kinda cute and climbs El Cap so get over it... Michelle is tough as nails and is willing to do some cool stuff and share great experiences that I respect. I dont mind Icegirl either. Never had anything to say bad about her.... Minx- well whatever I dont know here. Muffytheflirtmaster- dont know her either. I think your remark is delusional and or without base. Leithal (sp) met her once never had a problem.. More chicks posting is ok by me. There are some cool chicks in the hills as far as I am concerned. I just dont seek anyone's approval on my comments toward any womans remarks just like a man. As a matter of fact Holly, Bruce, Eddie and I did a weekend trip of climbing in the mountains where Holly was leading pitches. It was fun and we all got along so do the world a favor and STFU. MMKAY! I dont boulder much anymore. There is a fun problem on the rafters of my garage. I rate it V2 since I did a V4 once. But I have not finished it yet. I try about every 6 months. The landing is on concrete flats so ok. My dog hasn't tried it yet but he is eyeballing all the moves every time like he is ready. Maybe he has made a secret ascent and is waiting until I climb it so he can then try it "first try" If I ever climb it my rating will be V420!

Yes get a dog. They might even dig you out of avvy. It's been reported before by "untrained dogs". Plus dogs are totally cool buds. A couple of meals of canned dog food now and then they look to you like the biggest hero on the planet. Plus you can piss off all the dog haters at the crags

I have mutt lab pit bull. He looks like a lab mostly. He goes out in the snow like a pro. His first time out he was instanty luvin it. It's not a bad idea for paw protectors on some dogs. What many dogs get is snow balls on their paws and it's a good idea to check them out once in a while and remove them. If you see them stop and start chewing at their feet it's usually a sign they have snowballs on their paws. I dont have ruff wear paw protectors for his feet but I don't rule out getting a set if I was to take him out for an extended period of time. Usually I take him out for less than 8 hours in the snow... -Cpt.Caveman

Dru makes good points. I'll be happy to see someone climb WF Sloan in winter. EVEN IF IT IS A CANADIAN! That might show us statesmen that we suck at climbing and reading conditions. Either way have at it.
