  3. HGB (is that Holly Grizzly Bear?), I am a gaper but would climb alpine in N Cascades. Would like to climb N R Baker or Forbidden Peak or something like that. Check your Messages. Looks like Figger Eight has not responded to mine so I still have no partner. I hate aid climbing.
  4. Kill trucks Kill trucks.
  5. Figger Eight- If you have friday off let's climb something. Check pm for number.
  6. Finding partners for Leavenworth is easy. Thanks anyway Look for mtn climbing partners. Nothing final but have some replies so far. Anyone want to tackle Baker N Ridge or something in Boston Basin?
  7. nolanr, I have never seen a ranger back there past 5 miles. I recommend the Snow Creek trail. Also recommend bivying away from the trail more than 400 meters or so. They WILL TICKET YOU. is all I can say. If you want specifics send me an email (rayborbon@hotmail.com). I feel more comfortable relaying good info personally for various reasons. Beta is good and they never fill their quoats anyway. Half the people leave and never make it all the way back there.......... Either way chances are that you will not be bothered...
  8. Dru, Lots of time oppp=ortunities. Climb your hidden secrets I will send something but not sure what. It might be more interesting than one would expect if things turn out good No TR's though! Just chestbeating spray and photos

  11. I am off friday as many are. I will be headed to N Cascades. If anyone wants a partner email to rayborbon@hotmail.com I can't climb with every respondant so don't get mad when Caveman does not respond like this past sunday. Werd up we can also hit DA TOOF up next time Only climbers with kind and good sense of humor need aplly. Welcome ropeguns and semi qualified gapers like bronco Plan is to go climbing. Nothing in particular yet but the forecast is appearing to look better than it was yesterday. Bring the whiskey and KGB and we will send a route.
  12. No all time favs here. It all boils down to the entire experience which means partners, accomplishment, scenery, quality, enjoyment, and even most of all season. The winter season can change a mountain and route in more ways than one. I can find new climbing experiences every season that surpass the last one's. It's not about a large or perfect rock route all the time. I climb for me and not for the chestbeating. Although if I get a good photo I will post it here once in a while.
  13. Uh yeah. Proves how weak we are with all our techy gear.
  14. I second DA TOOF!
  15. Cool. Juan didn't you do a cool linkup via the Serpentine Ridge and W R Prusik last fall?
  16. Trs and pictures different.
  17. I dont like posting TRs, but if anyone asks for conditions I will tell them that. Thanks for info though. Oh yeah and hurry up and quit that damn job of yours. It's getting in the way of this climbing thing
  18. He's back for more! Hey ole pal
  19. quote: Originally posted by anthonysmarocks: Climbers Welcome. Gapers Go Away. Had the column been titled, Hey now I am a gaper!! Don't insult me or rule me out of the network here just because I am fat overweight and talk a lot of smack. I can surely hold down numerous pints of heavy and tell tales of climbing the tooth 100 times over. Wake up
  20. Rent or borrow a cat
  21. Actually I am just throwing out sarcastic humor. I would really like to know if anyone has climbed the E Ridge and how it went. Thinking about hitting it up soon.
  22. Cache's are illegal! But that sounds like some adventure skiing all them boys did Buy em a
  23. Erik, I must know if the fixed lines to the summit are still intact! Is the summit register weelchair accessible. Is the desecent marked with paint and fatty 1/2 inch bolts every 30 feet!? [ 07-02-2002, 08:01 AM: Message edited by: Cpt.Caveman ]
