They should have used the recycled Kennan Harvey pics out of the Bugs instead

I dont appreciate him or his comments. But I am sure many dont appreciate mine. *If he's so tough what's he doing on a gaper route *
-
I always thought alpine meant- cool as fuck, where no cars can drive to, little or no trees and other vegetation grows and sometimes above a glacier.
-
I think Dwayner has it right on the money. Never liked the responses I got from climzalot or his buddy over there that I can recall. Here's some more useless banter and images
-
Nice. I bet they were. I was rock climbing choss with my puppy.
-
Re- so if alpine climbing has to be at high altitude, where does that leave climbs like those in patagonia? sure wouldn't call them crags!... ********************************************** I dont call them crags. I guess that most wouldnt either. I just dont think desert towers are in the same category. Furthermore I think that with the number of mountains and ranges available to the editors they should have no problem finding some peaks to write about.
-
Well my impression is that it is defined as above the tree line..... Let's argue and debate
-
I dont think I would want or expect a bunch of desert towers to be featured in an alpine climber magazine. Although the routes can be undoubtedly difficult they don't fall into that category. That's what is called sub alpine.
-
That's sounds pretty cool. I was looking at that thing Friday from the highway. Wet rock?
-
That's a nice photo trask. Full on brawling
-
climzalot, Last time I checked I was free to do whatever I pleased. I don't really give a fuck what you care about. If you want me to shut up you'll have to use physical force. I encourage that sort of action too. Because although I cant climb I do know how to brawl and would be entertained at just the thought of some retard like you wanting to.
-
I'm not a climber anymore either.
-
Those boots are real nice. I used a pair last year I think it was. I was able to climb M1 Wi9 in them. They do rock for many obvious reasons over plastics. But I aint running out to buy them.
-
Yeah no shit alex. Wasnt talking to your highness. I was meaning when is Dale and crew going to send it?
-
Those are nice photos dave. Looks sporty conditions.
-
Melting schmelting, water running babble whine cry, condition whatever. It's never in go home. Shit if I walked all the way in there buds I would have at least climbed the NE Buttress. Maybe you should get to the route before mid day heat melts it away. Bring the choppers.
-
Looking at your list I have only done 2 of them. However if I was to pick one climb out of the other 3 I would go for Goode. It appears to be a nice mountain. Although it's not short work getting in and out of there (unless you are some alpine ninja) I bet it's worth it. I agree with some people here when they suggest climbing Mt Shuksan. I also agree with climbing Mt Stuart via the North Ridge if you can too (although not in the park). How about Triumph as well? I disagree with WA pass unless you just like sub alpine granite climbs. Although it's a nice area it's mostly just rock climbing and no cool glacier terrain. For some reason I beleive many out of state mountain climbers come to view this range with it's expanse of cool glaciers.

RE-is that all? I fully expected you to engage into a little "who has the longest dick" or something of that sort. **************************************** Just because you and your workmates rub your peckers together in your cubicles doesn't mean other people do!
-
RE-and why is it obvious? is it your climbing the mighty North Face of Chair which gives you such insight and confidence?******************************************** Just keep asking yourself those questions.
-
The only thing I expect is that I wont like a majority of climbers. That's all...
-
ther's ice in up there. I climbed some just after New Years... Look at the forecast - http://www2.mybc.com/weather/city.cfm?citycode=WKF&countryCode=CAN **********************************
-
j_b go back to your politics banter. It's real obvious you'd rather sit around and think about routes being in than climbing them.
-
RE-If you don't like a particular group of people, why socialize with them? And you must know that climbers have historically been perfectly normal, homogeneous folk who are anything but weird. ********************************************* I socialize with them for other entertainment reasons. What's it to ya pal? Are you gonna ask for a date next? Who fucking cares what I like and dislike?
-
although I tolerate and socialize with climber's I dont like most of them. I think most are geeky and annoying with their weirdness. So yes I am an ass.
-
I just quit climbing the other day so you wont see me around. Except here on these boards. Climbing scares me too much so I wont be doing it any more. I'll stick to other things like beer drinking and women chasing instead.
