This was good example of a climb at the cutting edge at one time, now that the game has been changed, The guy that had the first accent was ask to remove the bolts, he than did the right thing , it also goes to show bolts can be removed and routes can be restored Red M&M’s at Frenchman’s Coulee that was bolted than restored was also a restoration I supported.

Hootowl...comes from an old logging term used when you git up before dawn hit the brush at daylight to get your work day done. I got married on Friday, had the wedding party on Saturday, was way hung over on Sunday, tried for Pinnacle on Monday, got to the trail head at noon …sweltering hot… bailed Wife wakes me up at 4 am on Tuesday and says lets go… we got to the trail head about 6.30 ,summit time …shit I don’t know I didn't have a watch, got back to the car at 9.30 headed home to the AC Any more beta and I might ruin the onsight for someone. communication from WDFW to me on 3-16-09 The problem has been that we can't find a vendor to go/pump out the outhouses. the one we had previously tolerated ( at extra cost to WDFW)removing rocks and or garbage prior to pumping them out, it was after hypodermic needles started showing up in the pots that caused them to quit. I havent had any luck finding a vendor that's willing to go clear out there to service the outhouses. I'm confident that any facility you would like to provide will suffer the same abuse and vandalism that led to the removal of the old outhouses. Any low-cost industructible, self-cleaning alternatives you might suggest I'd be willing to consider sincerely Greg Fitzgerald, manger columbia Basin wildlife area I have made some suggestions addressing the problems and am waiting a reply from WDFW LUCKY
