I guess I'll throw out the venerable Alki card, there is a newly revamped Schurman rock in west seattle, good for a few hours of bouldering around, then there is dukes or the Bamboo club, both bars featuring outdoor seating and food, or the ever popular beach itself which closes at 11, but offers picnic shelters and such. just an idea, I'm gonna try to make this one, it's been awhile. I miss all you guys...

I couldn't agree more with robbob. It's a small amount of time to give up for other people who are grieving as well. I can appreciate the time that you will need by yourself, but RB is right, if you don't go, your other friends will be offended.

Go the memorial. Then go climbing. I think that hanging out with a bunch of friends and hearing stories is more therapeutic than you may realize. The memorial is not primarily for your friend, but is for his friends, and you, to console and help each other through this time. sorry for your loss... It is only for one night. After that head out to the hills and do what you need to do.

If you have windows XP I think there is a program that is call movie maker, or something. I think that works good. otherwise there is a movie editing program at Costo for about a hundred bucks.

I'm sure that you are aware that if the PubClub "We're drinking now" is not centrally located (ie ballard or fremont), there is a marked drop in attendance figures. I admire you for your tenacity, but alas, I am sure we will see it in Ballard/Fremont once more. As a sidenote, I believe that the old peculiar is one of AlpineK's favoritest haunts.... Anyways, on....

From my research conducted June 18 - 19, 2003. After drinking 3 Peashooter Ales at noon with lunch. 2 fat tire Ales with my boss at 3pm, 2 Dos XX at 5pm, Several more glasses of Fat Tire from 6-10. My findings are that my flatulence was very pungent, possesing a sweet yet sour smell the next morning, lasting until approx. Noon. My actual scat, was semi-solid, with a smell strongly resembling my gas. I did not have a chance to add coffee to the mix, but assume that would have made my morning much more rushed, and urgent. There it is, I'm not proud, but I enjoyed the research.

That's me. And I am really not a big asshole. (well maybe occasionally.)
