Lookin out the window, Snow cover is patchy with lots of bare rock on Cheam Lady and Slesse. Looks like snowline is up above 5000, a bit lower and more continuous on N faces like McGuire. It has all accumulated in depressions and shaded aspects basically. Probably Ok for hiking/scrambling, sucky for skiing and climbing.

Probably the Cassiar or Omineca Ranges, and yep. I dont know of anyone who has ever really visited any of them. Probably a lot of unclimbed peaks. Of course they tend not to be all that spectacular... highest ones are mid 2000ms, like 2700... not many big walls either I don't think. The Omineca is the same geological body as the Purcell-Selkirk group (think Bugaboos??) supposed to be lots of granite according to my geological courses. There is info available on bivouac.com in terms of peak names and heights but little else. write us up a TR if you go.

I only went because the movie I wanted to see was sold out. But I laughed harder than Ive laughed since I read the g spotter trip report. DOOD it kicked ass! BWA HA HA jackass movie rocked! It was like Candid Camera with the scatology factor turned up to 11. It was like the best parts of 100 skateboard videos without the stupid stunt tricks getting in the way of the geeking!
