yes there is an unprotected boulder problem crux on one of the pitches so you need to be able to onsight V2 or some trickery like that. -

chalk does not need to be brushed onto the holds. your hands aresufficient to do that. too much chalk should be brushed OFF the holds though. or let the rain do it for you.
