Pica_Whisperer
http://www.womensadventuremagazine.com/stories/reader-stories/snow-biking/ Looks like a fun trip. Did you have regular knobbies on, or studs? LOL! That's my story I submitted to WAM! I have both--depends. On the roads, I use studs (Nokian) and they are the bomb...I laugh at ice! On that bike in the photo (the one with the skier is actually when I raced the Susitna 100--you can bike, "run" or ski) I didn't run studs because they're too heavy on the trails. I had 2.3 WTB Weirwolfs and run very low psi for better surface area...about 17 psi on trails. As you can see the SMART people ski. I had to push that loaded bike 33 miles because the trail was so damn soft! I felt completely stupid. I didn't have a Fat Bike... I just got a Fat Bike this week... Surly Mukluk.
