gapertimmy Posted January 6, 2003 Posted January 6, 2003 i dunno bout you guys, but i was out doing some lift serviced turns yesterday in me hooded sweatshirt, listening to some cuts on the mp3 player and getting $paid$, it doesn't get much better than that. well perhpas waist deep with faceshotz is pretty good, but i'm not complaining, and even better yet, all those nocal wankers have gone back to their cubicles to write tps reports Quote
eric8 Posted January 6, 2003 Author Posted January 6, 2003 (edited) is that better unless we get one of those freeze thaw things Edited January 6, 2003 by eric8 Quote
dberdinka Posted January 6, 2003 Posted January 6, 2003 Check out the forecasts at www.nwac.noaa.gov they tend to be more detailed and accurate IMHO. Predicting a 4000' freezing level for Thursday and Friday with continued dry weather. I won't be making any bets but it looks like next weekend might be a good one to get out into the mountains. Cross your fingers... Quote
Bill_Simpkins Posted January 6, 2003 Posted January 6, 2003 There is stuff to do in all weather in the NW. It is what you make of it. Sit around and gripe or go out and do something, your choice. Quote
erik Posted January 6, 2003 Posted January 6, 2003 and since the weather is soooooo nice...i think wallstein and myself are going to make the 20 minute drive to index.... oh bummer!!!! work on happy poeple!!! Quote
mattp Posted January 6, 2003 Posted January 6, 2003 Darin has it right. This is a GREAT forecast for the weekend warrior who wants to climb something snowy. Cross your fingers. Quote
Dru Posted January 8, 2003 Posted January 8, 2003 Or take the week off and beat the next storm cycle. No guarantees but something near Chil liwack might be climbed in the next few days Quote
Skisports Posted January 8, 2003 Posted January 8, 2003 Really if you watch the temps, they haven’t been as high as forecasted due to inversion layers ambient temp is one thing and radiation is another. Dave Quote
