scot'teryx
and find an HP digital camera, I would be very happy to get it back. Not sure where it was lost, but somewhere around here: Thanks
klenke
Hmmm. My dad lost his digital camera in Cancun this month. Maybe it wasn't your fault. Maybe it's a global conspiracy the way they're disappearing like that. Looks like you didn't make the summit on Saturday. Schucks.

Dave_Schuldt
Sucks about your camera, how was the skiing? Is it worth doing?
scot'teryx
how was the skiing? Is it worth doing? Not that good, the avy conditions were marginal, with 1.5 feet of powder, and a 1.5 foot icy base, and on top of that was about 2 inches of windblown crust. Turns were hard to control with that crust, but sergio and craig were boarding so it wasn't as bad for them as it was for Jerry and I I would not go back up until conditions get better I did hear that green mountain was nice this weekend
James
scott, did you follow the trail, or head straight up the ridge at the last swithback in the road before the TH? also, where does the road become impassable? thanks (if you reply) sorry to hear about your camera time for an upgrade
scot'teryx
we drove all the way up the road until 1/4 mile before the TH in his new toyota TRD which really kicks ass. Locking rear differential really helps, but a newer subaru made it up after we made trail on the road. We stuck pretty much to the regular trail until we got above the slide alder, and traversed some slopes which had already slid, really icy wind blown slabs. From there we headed up towards Sibley Pass staying on the left side of the slope Here is an image ascent in red, descent in blue
