"Best of the Fest" show with the winning films from the past 5th Vancouver Int Mountain Film Festival and with a live slide show by Guy Edwards, "2001 Complete Coast Range Ski Traverse". thelawgoddess Posted December 12, 2002 Share Posted December 12, 2002 well, if you can't even afford their genuinely reasonable lift tickets, there probably won't be a whole lot for you to do there that you couldn't do at home. but i find that just BEING in whistler makes even the mundane more exciting. a couple of fun things you can do for "free" or cheap: soak in the hot tub and people watch. snoboy Posted December 12, 2002 Share Posted December 12, 2002 Buy 0 lift tickets, hike the Ho Ch Minh, and ski for a week if you want. Try and recycle a 7-11 ticket, sometimes they work more than once. Make sure you look like you skiied a run or two, and go to Customer Service and tell 'em yer ticket ripped off in the trees. It worked for a friend, although his ticket really did get ripped off. Really. Buy overpriced lunch at the top too reduce any feelings of guilt you may have.
