I never dreamed I'd actually like Christie, however briefly it may last. Perhaps a tiny heart beats within this stone cold breast after all.

Me too. I'm over it. That was pure politics. Sure, he's being honest when saying he feels it. Anyone who spent their Summer's at the shore feels it. It's the only decent thing they've got, and I can tell ya it's all fucked. Notice Christie's billboard jacket announcing that he's the gubner. He don't leave home w/o it. America gets to see him in all his splendor. Beware the fat man speaking kindly. He wants your cheeseburger. :chebit:

I know he bills himself as an independent these days, but I'd vote for a republican like him if one were to ever make it past the republican primaries.

the guy is a democrat, of course you would vote for him.

Do you even know anything about his policies or are you just being a pest? He's pretty anti-tax, and he endorsed bush's reelection in 2004 and has been fairly critical of Obama. Which of his policies makes you do quick so deny his independance?

he endorses obama plenty and he changed parties to avoid a crowded primary or maybe it was that he couldn't get the democratic nomination.....

Nope. He's been famously critical of both candidates right up to his endorsement.

Might I suggest getting your news from sources other than FB.

nope on what? and i never said he wasn't critical of both sides....

Where do you get this garbage? He was elected twice as a republican and left the party in 2007, in the middle of his second term, 2 years before the next election, which he won as an independent on the republican ballot. His conservative fiscal policies turned a 6 billion deficit into a 3 billion surplus. Do you just think he's a democrat because he left your party? Sounds like sour grapes to me. You do realize, right, that "democrat" and "liberal" are not interchangeable words.

Hell, the guy LOVES giving tax breaks to big business, and really doesn't seem fond of the NYC transit union, and supports free trade.

So....once a democrat, always a democrat? LOL. He never once ran for public office as a democrat, and has been elected 66% of the time as a republican, the other as an independent. Why does this bother you so much?

So, supports conservative fiscal policies, but also wants to raise taxes in the face of a deficit. Supports gun laws, but also strict drug laws. He kicked the Occupy Wall Street guys out of the park, but also supports abortion rights. He supports immigration, but also supports the patriot act. He supports a federal ID database to track DNA and fingerprints and supports hard labor for prisoners, but is anti death penalty. He supported the war in iraq, AND president bush's re-election, AND was highly critical of democrats plans to set a withdrawal timetable.

How does this not sound like the mark of an independent? He doesn't fit either party. He even tried them both out

Clearly you are just being a pest at this point. Nice troll! hat's off, sir, you got me.
