I am going to put up a route with big beefy half inch bolts then when the route is too high up for them to bail on, switch the bolts to old Leepers with quarter inch buttonhead hangers and watch the bail booty miraculously appear almost as good as deliberately chipping a crack pod to be a gear eater but with a secret tunnel carved in the crack you can use to remove the 'stuck' gear.
