Blake Posted November 20, 2010 Posted November 20, 2010 (edited) It's getting a little cold on the North-facing stuff, but if anyone has a free weekend and wants to climb in Red Rock through the end of the year, you can currently book a round trip flight AND hotel in Vegas for practically nothing. People have been going form Seattle (+ hotel) for 20 cents. Buy tickets and hotel through www.Expedia.ca (gotta love the Canadians) and you'll get a $300 discount on what is a ~$300 purchase when you type "SAVE300" on the last page. denalidave Posted November 20, 2010 Posted November 20, 2010 This is cool. So, can you pay with a US credit card? Thanks Blake! Quote
mle Posted November 20, 2010 Posted November 20, 2010 Unfortunately the rules of this voucher seem to have been recently modified such that the trip must begin and end in Canada, AND be booked from Canada. Even when I tried (from my computer in Seattle) to create a Vancouver -> Las itinerary it deems the voucher invalid. Dang. Quote
rocketparrotlet Posted November 20, 2010 Posted November 20, 2010 It would probably be possible to drive to Vancouver and book it. (Squamish detour would also be possible.) I wish I could go, but school... Quote
bstach Posted November 21, 2010 Posted November 21, 2010 This is great, I am going to try it. Thanks for the heads up. Now I just need a partner. Quote
mle Posted November 21, 2010 Posted November 21, 2010 summitchaserCJB, where you able to book it from your computer in the USA? Did you go Vancouver -> Las Vegas? Anything else weird? I was getting a message that said the voucher was invalid when I did that... sure would like for it to work! Quote
olyclimber Posted November 21, 2010 Posted November 21, 2010 I wouldn't trust that info mle. Known bad source though I'm sure some before got in on this deal. Quote

Oh well, I should really do the work thing anyway... Quote
Crack Posted November 21, 2010 Posted November 21, 2010 I booked! Looking forward to the videos of you coiling/recoiling ropes for the rap off of Crimson... Quote
indexclimber Posted November 22, 2010 Posted November 22, 2010 This is awesome. I wish I had a week off so that I could do it. Quote
