JasonG Posted October 20, 2010 Posted October 20, 2010 Dallas on one of his many winter ascents of Sauk Mountain. Hi all- Those who were close to Dallas have set up a fund to help defray the cost of a memorial installation (design and type TBD) on Mt. Erie. If you would like to contribute here are the details: Send donations to: Anacortes Parks Foundation PO Box 1902 Anacortes, WA 98221 It is important that " Dallas Kloke Memorial" be put in the memo field on the check, or a note included mentioning that this is for the Dallas Memorial. Thanks everyone! P.S. If the moderators could make this sticky for a while, that would be great. Quote
sepultura Posted October 20, 2010 Posted October 20, 2010 Thanks Jason, what better place to honor Dallas, anyone who has ever climbed at Mt Erie has done so because of efforts put forth by Mr. Kloke. We owe him a small thanks for sure. Quote
bwwakaranai Posted October 20, 2010 Posted October 20, 2010 Thank you, most certainly will do that -B Quote
Mtnclimber Posted October 21, 2010 Posted October 21, 2010 I would be honored to contribute. Dallas was a great guy and will be missed. A Quote
spiderman Posted October 31, 2010 Posted October 31, 2010 I know that everyone who has climbed here has reaped the rewards of all Dallas' hard work establishing great lines, and maintaining and updating the older lines. I think that a memorial is definetly in order. Quote
