nels0891 Posted September 17, 2010 Posted September 17, 2010 Does anybody know which routes on the black spider have been climbed and which ones have not? Also is there any up to date information source about the routes? I have just been intrigued recently by the climbing up there, however information is relatively limited. Quote
hemp22 Posted September 17, 2010 Posted September 17, 2010 Two new routes this year: Center Drip and Fric-Amos Might be some info on Wayne's site too - he'd probably be the authority to ask... New guidebook supposed to be coming out too... Quote
ColinB Posted September 17, 2010 Posted September 17, 2010 This is from Wayne's site: When ever the new guidebook is released, there are topos and high res photos of the face for your reading pleasure. Do post up here conditions that you find and any photos you get; info is scarce and greatly appreciated. Quote
kevino Posted September 17, 2010 Posted September 17, 2010 Is this the same guidebook that'll have info about illumination rock? Does anybody know when its suppose to come out? Quote

billbob Posted September 17, 2010 Posted September 17, 2010 Ya, just finished w/ 6 months of courtroom drama, at least that is over. Never, ever, under any circumstances represent yourself in court, no matter how smart you might think you are. That's my advice to you, paid for by yours truly in the form of his 11 year old daughter now preparing to move to the middle east. The guide should be finished in 4 weeks, the literary agent says the publisher is eager to get it. Not sure when it will hit the shelves. I'm doing the best I can with what I have. It might go much faster if someone bought the beer... BTW, the illustration posted by Colin was drawn freehand by Zen Master Zac Reisner. There is a similar one of I-Rock by Zac. Did you know that married men live longer than single men? It's not true. It just seems longer. Quote

wayne Posted September 18, 2010 Posted September 18, 2010 There are currently 6 routes done on the Spider. There are more waiting to be done. The route to the right of the Fric/nA. A direct finish to Arach. The finish to the right of the Center Drip. Have fun, just have some patience. Quote
