ZimZam Posted January 31, 2010 Posted January 31, 2010 It's due to the "dumbing down" of the American educational system. Quote
ivan Posted January 31, 2010 Posted January 31, 2010 i like this part: "In Texas, where barely two-thirds of the population have full health insurance and over a fifth of all children have no cover at all, opposition to the legislation is currently running at 87%." hardly suprising - this is the country that started off by saying all men were equal when maybe a tenth of the population had sufferage, and a place that might as well call itself the united states of jeebus but overwhelmingly supports capital punishment for damn near any offense despite the whole "he who is w/o sin yadda yadda yadda" parable Quote

That's a little thing we like to call "freedumb", mister. As FW has already pointed out, its not about health, or coverage, or having a pot to piss in. It's about "American Values" as defined by a small minority and being in lockstep with them against all rational argument even when they're taking us over a cliff. So there. Quote
