tread_tramp Posted March 17, 2002 Posted March 17, 2002 The same mountain that you describe in your picture appears in the picture taken from south of the Monte Cristo group on p. 66 0f the green CAG. It is on the horizon to the right of Baker. Although unnamed in the photo I am sure that it is Shuckson. Ralph Quote
Biff Posted March 17, 2002 Posted March 17, 2002 Shit, I was worried. I thought some stud topped out on Stuart in early March. Quote
tread_tramp Posted March 17, 2002 Posted March 17, 2002 Ah, the sacred Mount Biffington that pilgrims trek to from pubs far and near. Quote

As to what those peaks in the photo from Tamihi are: Actually that is Judge Howay on the left and the Chehalis Range on the right. I just looked it up on the map with a ruler, using Tamihi Creek as the sightline. Oh well. I blame the photo quality (snicker) or my video card... Quote
nolanr Posted March 21, 2002 Posted March 21, 2002 If you see a peak in the distance and can't figure out what it is, just guess Sloan. That thing seems to pop up into view no matter where you are. Quote
philfort Posted March 21, 2002 Posted March 21, 2002 nolanr, I think you're wrong, it's Stuart. Quote

nolanr Posted March 26, 2002 Posted March 26, 2002 Well geez, now I'm all confused. I just know it can't be Olympus, 'cause you pretty much can't see that thing unless you're on top of it or directly below it or sailing up the coast. Quote
