That last photo is Whatcom Peak? Which implies you climbed Spickard then ridge traversed past Redoubt and Bear down to Whatcom Pass then out...LIttle Beaver?

 

Am I right?

Spickard route: south slope, 6th pic

 

The Whatcom Pass-Redoubt High Route was a consideration. Went back out Perry Creek. Red Face was done as a side trip.

Sweet pictures. I can't believe I was up there earlier this summer...same route. I never considered Spickard for a Fall climb. I see you also enjoyed the variety of fungus along the trail. How was the passage of the falls?

When you mention falls I assume you're referencing the Depot Creek approach. We approached by Perry Creek basin which held the most various and abundent fungus display I've witnessed.

Sorry, my bad...I didn't pick up the Perry Creek approach through my flu and drug haze. How is that approach by the way? The Depot Creek trail had quite a nice collection of fungi as well.
