According to the Investors Business Daily, in an editorial about how horrible overhauling healthcare would be, asserted "People such as scientist Stephen Hawking wouldn't have a chance in the U.K., where the National Health Service would say the life of this brilliant man, because of his physical handicaps, is essentially worthless."

 

Never mind that Stephen Hawking is in fact a life long UK citizen currently residing in Cambridge.
