Beck Posted November 14, 2001 Posted November 14, 2001 I'm currently looking for a room to rent/ houseshare in Seattle with like minded outdoors types- current roomate doesn't like me being out of town most weekends (jealous?) so I am in search of a place to live that understands the call of the wild. Me? 33, NS, gainfully employed, clean, quiet, respectful, need space to store gear and self. PM me if you need a housemate or have heard of a place- Thanks a bunch! Quote
Dru Posted November 14, 2001 Posted November 14, 2001 You oughta leave a brown trout coiler on your stuck up roomies pillow for him when you move out. show him what you think! Most roomies would be glad to have the house to themselves for the weekend? Quote
Cpt.Caveman Posted November 14, 2001 Posted November 14, 2001 Yeah fuck that loser roomate. I hear Drul likes Teddy Ruxpin. You guys could get a tag team going Quote
Dru Posted November 14, 2001 Posted November 14, 2001 I got the sheep herd out to pasture in my spare bedroom otherwise Beck and Teddy could move in. But they would have to immigrate to do that and we aren't letting terrorists enter the country these days, just leave, so... Quote
Cpt.Caveman Posted November 14, 2001 Posted November 14, 2001 Teddy likes Canyuckers. I bet he could sneak across the state line Quote
Dru Posted November 14, 2001 Posted November 14, 2001 We are exporting Grizzlies to you guys cause you killed all yours back when, so why would Teddy come north? He is in demand in USA. down there you got endangered species laws. Not us, we kill them off now. Spotted Owls population down 78% in last 5 years! Quote
Cpt.Caveman Posted November 14, 2001 Posted November 14, 2001 I dont want that sick bastard. Maybe Beck can enlighten us! Quote
Beck Posted November 15, 2001 Author Posted November 15, 2001 Thanks for all the advice, bros, I really do need to find a place to live though, I'd appreciate some modicum of understanding on that. as to Teddy R.,he's up north buggering Ursus Horribilus right now so it's just me looking for a place. Anne Posted November 17, 2001 Posted November 17, 2001 Not exactly Seattle, but... We have a huge room avail here in SW Portland. $400/mo includes own fireplace and bathroom. Best of all you get to live with 2 crazy climber chicks and one cool red head, who doesn't mind us waking up at 4am to go ice climbing. PM if interested. Quote
Dru Posted November 19, 2001 Posted November 19, 2001 Is that offer just open for Beck or would you take a Canadian?? That sounds like my ideal house... oh wait, it would only be a 7 hour commute each way to my job... damn. Later. Quote
Beck Posted November 19, 2001 Author Posted November 19, 2001 Nicest offer so far, Anne, my own fireplace? Indoor stove testing and low low heating bills coupled with the ambience of a glowing hearth... I'd almost consider moving but Dru's got it right, the commute would be harsh! Quote
Beck Posted December 7, 2001 Author Posted December 7, 2001 Still looking for a place to live. I got a couple good leads off this post but they weren't quite right. Looking for a room to rent Seattle area, bike commutable to downtown, room to store gear and self. If anyone has any leads I'd really appreciate it. Beck Quote
allthumbs Posted December 8, 2001 Posted December 8, 2001 Damnit Beck, this house huntin's been goin' on too long. I can't offer ya a home, as I live a schosh too far away, but I could put ya up for the weekend if you'd help me with the "babe overflow problem" I'm having. Help! Quote
