rbw1966 Posted October 22, 2008 Posted October 22, 2008 I had a pair of Acopa slippers a few years back. I thought they were decent for the price. They delaminated after I left them in my trunk on a hot day (as just about any shoe would). I would have replaced them with another pair had I been able to find them locally. Quote
plexus Posted October 24, 2008 Posted October 24, 2008 I bought a pair of Acopa slippers when I was living in Oaxaca in '02. Still have them, they still have the same soles -though they are in need of a resole, and have held up better than my Mad Rock slippers. I use them as my non-summer slipper, meaning in summertime my feet swell up too big to get the damn meat pies in there without cramping badly. I would recommend them if you find some that fit well. NTM Posted October 24, 2008 Posted October 24, 2008 yes, acopas are totallyfuckingawesome.com i have had many pairs and wear through them until they are no longer useful. if i remember correctly, if you order them online and they dont fit, you can just mail them back to re-size. also, i emailed john when i wanted to try a different model, gave him my street shoe size, he emailed me back with the correct size for that shoe and they were spot on. i also think that climb max down in pdx has them if yorue ever there and somewhere in oly reportedly has some acopas Quote
murraysovereign Posted October 24, 2008 Posted October 24, 2008 Acopas are also available through a certain shop I know of in Squamish Quote

klk Posted November 7, 2008 Posted November 7, 2008 Merlins are a really good all around shoe, but very soft and will stretch a good deal. Spectres have a similar last, but more midsole. Quote
