pu
So, no one is interested in the desert. How about one of the S Face routes on prussik in a day. Weather pending. Looking good so far on NOAA. Will likely change.
canadug
Are you talking about doing it in a day from the parking lot? If so, good luck. It is a hell of a long hike and the days are getting shorter really fast.
pu
Thanks for the vote of confidence Canadug. You are a real cheerleader. You should buy a headlamp. There are a bunch of them on the market and they make pre dawn starts and post sunset returns possible. Still Looking...
canadug
I was actually giving a word of advice....If you wish to take it otherwise that is your issue. I have actually done that and other climbs in the area with and without a headlamp. Good luck finding someone.

Dirtyleaf
Less of a hike and some more climbing and I'm in. I've got a lot of ideas.
sisu
i am also interested in doing something of that length, if it doesn't snow too much before that weekend, with either of you, on the twelfth.
telemarker
Mt. Cashmere had a good dusting of snow Saturday, temps not expected to get much above mid 50's in Leavenworth this weekend, so expect much colder up high. But hey, I bet you'll have the S. Face to yourself!
pu
Thanks for the beta on Cashmere. Cold rock is good. Snow. Ugh.
pu
Alright Dirtyleaf or Sisu. What would you like to do? I am planning on arriving before noon on Saturday. I am available all day on sunday. I climb in the 10's comfortably. Open to suggestions.
