Peter_Puget Posted September 4, 2008 Posted September 4, 2008 BO and Biden have promised to change politics....by that I guess they mean they want to go back to the 90's..... Prosecute! Quote
kevbone Posted September 4, 2008 Posted September 4, 2008 Democratic vice-presidential nominee Joe Biden said yesterday that he and running mate Barack Obama could pursue criminal charges against the Bush administration if they are elected in November. ITS ABOUT FUCKING TIME. Quote
kevbone Posted September 4, 2008 Posted September 4, 2008 Three veterans of the Bush White House have been held in criminal contempt of Congress for refusing to respond to subpoenas: former counsel Harriet Miers, former political adviser Karl Rove, and current chief of staff Josh Bolten. The contempt battle is currently before a federal court. If they did nothing wrong.....why did they not show up? Quote
billcoe Posted September 4, 2008 Posted September 4, 2008 "If there has been a basis upon which you can pursue someone for a criminal violation, they will be pursued," Biden said during a campaign event in Deerfield Beach, Florida, according to ABC. "[N]ot out of vengeance, not out of retribution," he added, "out of the need to preserve the notion that no one, no attorney general, no president -- no one is above the law." About time congress grew a pair. They are suppose to be running the show, not walking away and letting the King do it all and tell them how to live. Quote

Speaking of Back to the Future, Palin reminds me of Ronnie: articulate, likable, witty. Those zingers delivered with a smile will be most effective. I can't wait for the next "I paid for this microphone" or "There you go again". The debates are gonna be fun! Quote

Bug Posted September 4, 2008 Posted September 4, 2008 Palin is scarey good at public appearances. Like Reagan, she is as hard to dislike as she is to pin down on exactly what she means. "I love America" slogans and "Good work ethic" and "family values" don't exactly describe a political agenda. The Propoganda machine is on a roll. Quote
