My LHe has arrived. Transfer will commence shortly.

I bet I win the contest of who has seen the coldest object. I worked on an experiment in Berlin where we had optical access to a liquid helium bath as it cooled through the superfuid phase transition.

No.

Rudy just figures that if someone is climbing something hard they must be using bolts.

He hasn't been exposed to much real climbing.

yes keith, you are right...in fact, beyond the blue and pink taped route there is NOTHING...that is the limit of sickness...

That should be Real Climbing™

different sport altogether...I think its trade logo is "Glory Daze!"

The transfer is going well so far. I bet you're all on the edges of your seats.

The worry is that the vacuum insulating the transfer line might go soft. That would be bad. LHe is expensive stuff. As long as the magnet stays superconducting all is well in the end.

As in, "Look at my glorious drill!

I am stud now.

Ewwwwe, it's raining. I'm going home."

OK. Im a sport climber now.

But it won't last long.

do you really want to convince them to switch to the other side, making all those great destinations even more crowded.

yeah, moss and slugs. that's all there is in the alpine - stay away!

I'm not worried.

My pack is bigger than Rudy.
