Check it out on e-bay, a pair of "snow spikes" used in the filming of THE EIGER SANCTION. They appear to be authentic ( )

Actually those are cool old crampons to put on the wall with the wooden ice axe...but I think they are just a little older than the Eiger Sanction movie.

 

Lets call clint and see if they are really his.

And while you are watching the film, look for the scene where Clint/Hemlock is frontpointing up an ice slope. Watch it in slow motion and I think you will see something interesting. Anybody know? Dwayner?

I'll take another look. One of the best parts of the movie involves ice work, during the retreat when Andrel and Jonathan fall/pendulum across an ice face. When they come to rest, Andrel says something to the effect, "In the future, I would appreciate it if you would not ride me down the mountain like a sled!"
