Here it is! The Famous Feathered Friends Rep Night! Wednesday November 7 at 7pm in the retail store. You may have come to these in the past, and this year some things will still be the same:

- fund raiser for NWAC, a great local cause

- beer!

- tons and tons of excellent prizes to raffle off: this year we have several pairs of skis and boots, a Barryvox Pulse beacon, plenty of Arc'teryx and Cloudveil clothing, ice axes, the list is too long to print.

This year some things will be different:

- compete in Feats of Skill and Strength to win prizes

- no slide show

- new vendors will be represented (Cilo Gear packs will make their Seattle debut!)

- Pray For Snow after party around the corner at SLUG (South Lake Union Grill) where the ski raffle will be held, drink specials will abound, and much fun will be had.

- party will be co-sponsored by Snowboard Connection, so this year you can win some great snowboarding gear if that is what you are into.

Raffle tickets are available for sale NOW at Feathered Friends and can even be purchased by phone.

Ski Raffle: $10 each or 3 for $20. You don't need to be present to win, but you probably will want to be there. Winners get to choose their prize from the pool, so if you want that $700 pair of Scarpa ski boots, you can pick those instead of the Atomic skis. If you're not there to claim a prize, you get whatever is left over.

Snowboard raffle: same story

Clothing raffle: $5 each or 3 for $10. You must be present to win prizes at Rep Night.

See you there!

yeah, i'm afraid I'm here in istanbul where it's cold and raining. But we're making the new packs, and I think the new 30L and 75L will really be worth checking out. Bring your pack by and show it off, and shoot me an email with a pic or two and we'll get you sorted out. I won't be back in the states till basically after thanksgiving.

The 75L has a big hole with a zipper for a big sleeping bag, and an innovative method of bringing the whole load down to your hips. It has the crampon pocket.

The 30L has a removable lid, is lighter, and more streamlined. It also has a removable hipbelt. With the belt on, it's one size fits most, with the sweet spot from 18 to 22 inches of torso.

All of the V3 packs have a number of upgrades and new features like the pocket in the framesheet closure lid.

We should have 3 to 4 of the nonwoven Dyneema packs available when I get back as well. Maybe a few more...

This is going to be a VERY FUN night. The amount of stuff we have to give away is ridiculous. The new NTN bindings just came in today too so you could check them out.

Big Blocks of Ice, Our biggest raffle yet, DJ's, ski movies, and gear - what else do you need on a rainy Wednesday.

Hopefully we'll see you all here and we'll raise a bunch of money and awareness for the NWAC and maybe you'll go home with a new pair of sticks - or any number of other things.

We gave away over $10,000 worth of prizes donated from our various reps, so a HUGE thanks goes out to them for their outpouring of generosity. We are still counting raffle money and will post again to let everyone know how much we raised.
