catbirdseat Posted August 28, 2007 Posted August 28, 2007 (edited) Is it me, or have an unusually large number of items been lost on climbs this year? Shoes, helmets, cameras, crampons, and ice tools seem to top the list. When I was a kid and I lost something, my Dad would always say something like, "it's a good think your head is screwed on tight, or you'd lose that too". Edited August 28, 2007 by catbirdseat Quote
EWolfe Posted August 28, 2007 Posted August 28, 2007 Naaah, it wasn't you, it was the two close cycles of Mercury in retrograde this year. It messed with everyone. Hope that helps. Quote
catbirdseat Posted August 28, 2007 Author Posted August 28, 2007 O, most reveared seer. Tell pray tell us what will happen to climbers when the moon is eclipsed tomorrow? Will we lose more stuff or find more stuff? Quote
G-spotter Posted August 28, 2007 Posted August 28, 2007 CBS, you got lost a long time ago, and no one has found you yet. Quote

lizard_brain Posted August 29, 2007 Posted August 29, 2007 I found one jar of ground black pepper at Ingalls Pass and one very large Teva on my way down from there last weekend. Sorry, no Mythos though... Quote
tvashtarkatena Posted August 29, 2007 Posted August 29, 2007 I've found many spent party balloons in the mountains. I can't for the life of me figure out what climbers are using them for. Quote
