rob Posted June 27, 2007 Posted June 27, 2007 I lived up on the hill in Eastgate for a while, not too bad. Easy bike ride. Pricey though. Quote

From Woodridge you could stay on city streets to where you work if I understand it correct. You drove through Eastgate when you came to visit me after my time in the hospital and I was recovering at my folks place. Technically my parents live in Eastgate, but I'm sure I could provoke a fight with a local in much the same way that you could when you tell folks you live in Ballard when you're on the wrong side of 85th Quote

I liked that area. No straight roads. Lots of big trees. Very nice! Quote
AlpineK Posted June 27, 2007 Posted June 27, 2007 (edited) under 750K? I know there's stuff over 750. Under 750 I think so, but I don't work in real estate. I'm sure good views will bump up the price. Edited June 27, 2007 by Feck Quote
AlpineK Posted June 27, 2007 Posted June 27, 2007 Maybe I can just move in with your folks! I'm sure they'd be happy to have you. You could talk to my mom about Coeur'd'alene from back in the day long before it was a fancy pants resort town. Quote
Gary_Yngve Posted June 27, 2007 Posted June 27, 2007 University Village should be renamed Bellevue West. Quote
KaskadskyjKozak Posted June 27, 2007 Posted June 27, 2007 I am thinking of moving to Bellevue. I work here, plan to for a while, and am tired of driving an hour each way. You can spit on me, but I would prefer if you give advice as to where a good spot to live is. I want a view of either water or mountains--it's worth the expense to me. I am at 140th and 20th NE I want to be w/i 10 min of work. What are your suggestions? stay on the s side of I-90 - Eastgate is an idea. A view home would be tough though ($$). Quote

ericb Posted June 27, 2007 Posted June 27, 2007 under 750K? AE - is Lakemont or Issaquah over the top for you....lots of townhomes and small single family in that range there....3 - 5 miles on I-90. Most assuredly the burbs though. Quote
AlpineK Posted June 27, 2007 Posted June 27, 2007 Arch. Right this instant go find a copy of an old Almost Live video. The episode you're looking for has this one skit with: The Bellevue Squares vs The Factoria Trash. I believe it's called, An Eastside Story. Quote
archenemy Posted June 27, 2007 Posted June 27, 2007 I'll watch it when I get headphones--thanks!!! Quote
