G-spotter Posted March 6, 2007 Posted March 6, 2007 Angel's Share E8 7a (highball V9) last move is crux! SqOMWHOIqf0 Quote
111 Posted March 7, 2007 Posted March 7, 2007 looks a little slick. I betcha it would only be V5 if they took a powerwasher out there. Quote
catbirdseat Posted March 7, 2007 Posted March 7, 2007 looks a little slick. I betcha it would only be V5 if they took a powerwasher out there. Looks can be deceiving. I am certain that all the "holds" are quite clean, if you want to call a pepper corn sized projection a hold. Quote
smithisheaven Posted March 7, 2007 Posted March 7, 2007 Wow, balding lame ass sends a slab, and u call that a highball? Bouldering gone all wrong Bra. V-what? I cant hear you I am up in the air actually climbing more than 15 feet off the ground. You should go back to the old 'tar it fit you alot better. You cant fool any1 but yourself with that weak ass devil head. Quote
Raindawg Posted March 8, 2007 Posted March 8, 2007 If that's what passes for climbing these days, we're done....SO DONE! Woo-hoo! Quote
smithisheaven Posted March 8, 2007 Posted March 8, 2007 Yo was it V-9 or what? Maybe its a "hard V-9". Or could be very very hard V-9. Some might say easy V-10. Then again me thinks its hard V-8 or "solid V-8". Now Yo, if you go ask my other "Bra's" it might go super easy V-10. Depends on the type of pad you have. Big pad for big V rating and oh is the landing prepped and smooth. Then we downgrade bigtime cause were like hardcore an shit. Look Ma I can smear and palm my way up a rock. Bouldering "rules?" Please get a rope and really climb. Quote
G-spotter Posted March 8, 2007 Author Posted March 8, 2007 Heh.. it was originally done with a rope. By Johnny Dawes. Quote
gertlush Posted March 9, 2007 Posted March 9, 2007 (edited) Not sure what use a rope would be...and I'm pretty sure there wouldn't have been any crash pads when Dawes led it. Of course it's easy to dismiss it as bouldering until that's you trying to belly flop over the top. Edited March 9, 2007 by gertlush Quote
G-spotter Posted March 9, 2007 Author Posted March 9, 2007 I read on UKclimbing that he piled a big mound of pine branches underneath. for one of his other climbs they carried sacks of hay to the base to soften the landing baa Quote
