bstach
Why do they cut a hole in the adze on most axes? Is this to save weight or does it have a functional purpose? My axe has a heart shaped adze-hole. Why heart shaped? My wife has no adze-hole, which is actually better for digging t-slots and such. kevbone
Why heart shaped? Because there is love in the air.
G-spotter
It's easier to open a beer with the heart shape. Hole in general lightens the axe
