JoJo Posted December 7, 2006 Posted December 7, 2006 Hey There, For all you CC "Ice Forum" Junkies that made fun of me or thought I was full of it last year when I posted a query about the longest ice climb, here is your chance to call BS in person. It'll cost ya five bucks though. All proceeds to benefit the Northwest Avalanche Center. Spread the word and see ya there. JoJo "Some Kind of Monster" a slide show and talk of experience, epics and the longest ice climb in North America by Joe Josephson. Weekend_Climberz Posted December 7, 2006 Posted December 7, 2006 Come on Joe, there was some classic spray in that thread Quote
JoJo Posted December 7, 2006 Author Posted December 7, 2006 I know! Looking forward to more. Bring it on... along with beer. Quote
JoJo Posted December 7, 2006 Author Posted December 7, 2006 (edited) I could probably do it Friday night the 15th if someone wanted to rally and find a venue. I can send a poster file someone could print out to pollute the streets and notice boards of PDX with. I'm sure Climb Max would help out but isn't their new shop super small? G-spotter Posted December 7, 2006 Posted December 7, 2006 "My ice climb is longer than yours", roooooooar! I bet there are some pretty long WI1s if you count horizontal distance as length Quote
ryland_moore Posted December 7, 2006 Posted December 7, 2006 Since PRG just did the dry tool comp last month, can John use connections from setting that up to get this to PDX one night after climbing? They have a huge venue for it. This would be pretty cool to see in PDX! We could definately get the word out fast to those in the know. Let me know how I can help... Quote

ryland_moore Posted December 7, 2006 Posted December 7, 2006 I was hoping Mr. Freih would be or someone that has a contact at PRG. What about other areas that someone has contact with? Other gyms, outdoor stores that have some space? Quote
StevenSeagal Posted December 8, 2006 Posted December 8, 2006 WTF? I trolled Dru Spotter almost 8 hours ago and still no response? He's slipping. I guess he's not that Hard to Kill. Quote
StevenSeagal Posted December 8, 2006 Posted December 8, 2006 It's quite an accomplishment to have made it onto Dru's ignore list. Oh the irony. Quote
jmckay Posted December 9, 2006 Posted December 9, 2006 "I am looking at the ten classic climbs in the world" Sound familiar, should it was you up at gros morian park. You should let the cat out of the bag on that one. joe Quote
