faster_than_you Posted September 11, 2006 Posted September 11, 2006 OMG... "But he went to Yale, he has had an exclusive upbringing and he is by no means a dimwit." Quote
catbirdseat Posted September 11, 2006 Posted September 11, 2006 Bush’s openness score of zero — compared with 82 for Clinton and John F Kennedy, 95 for Abraham Lincoln and 99.1 for Thomas Jefferson — “placed him at the very bottom of US presidents”. This assessment can only be considered tentative because of lack of available evidence on a sitting president, but it is corroborated by a measure of Bush’s “integrative complexity”. Simonton says: “Low scorers on integrative complexity can only see things from a single perspective — their own.” Bush’s score, he says, is comparable to “extremist Islamic fundamentalists in the Taliban and Al-Qaeda leadership — with the notable exception of Osama Bin Laden, who is lower still”. No surprises here. Quote
KaskadskyjKozak Posted September 11, 2006 Posted September 11, 2006 and how does it compare to yours? Quote
faster_than_you Posted September 11, 2006 Author Posted September 11, 2006 Hey KKK, I just posted the link, w/o comment (and w/ a positive quote I might add). I'll leave the discourse to you spray lords. Quote
Jim Posted September 11, 2006 Posted September 11, 2006 "He “is definitely intelligent . . . certainly smart enough to be president of the United States”, says Dean Keith Simonton, a psychologist at the University of California" Quote
catbirdseat Posted September 11, 2006 Posted September 11, 2006 He means smart enough to BECOME the president of the United States. He doesn't mean smart enough to do a good job of it. Quote
Mr_Phil Posted September 11, 2006 Posted September 11, 2006 Don't know his IQ, but his GPA at Yale was higher than Kerry's. Quote
Alpinfox Posted September 11, 2006 Posted September 11, 2006 Yeah, Bush's GPA was 77 and Kerry's was 76. A huge difference to be sure, but what courses did they take? Getting a C+ in Existential Philosophy is a lot more impressive than getting a B- in Cheerleading. Also, what is the most impressive thing each of them have said? Kerry: We are asking Americans to think about that because how do you ask a man to be the last man to die in Vietnam? How do you ask a man to be the last man to die for a mistake? full quote Bush: "Subliminable", etc. Quote
G-spotter Posted September 11, 2006 Posted September 11, 2006 Everyday I am training to be smartest American president. Quote
Dave_Schuldt Posted September 12, 2006 Posted September 12, 2006 After much thought I find that his IQ is 0.0000000001. Quote
