olyclimber Posted March 10, 2006 Posted March 10, 2006 I nominate Brownie. I think he is looking for work. Quote
Johnny_Tuff Posted March 10, 2006 Posted March 10, 2006 I nominate Brownie. I think he is looking for work. Only if BushCo is looking for another fall guy for their next colossally careless fuckup. What a good company man, taking one for the team like that! Quote
willstrickland Posted March 10, 2006 Posted March 10, 2006 Bet on it. It will be someone equally as bad, and likely less capable. Norton's ties to Jackin' Abrahamoff are starting to come out, which looks like the impetus for her callin' it a day. She was bad...as bad as Watt? Probably not, but good riddance. Quote
Weekend_Climberz Posted March 10, 2006 Posted March 10, 2006 "When Hurricane Katrina devastated the Gulf Coast region, she played a leading role in my Administration's efforts to restore badly needed offshore energy production to avoid further supply disruption and higher energy costs for consumers. Because of her leadership and thoughtful attention to management, repairs, and maintenance issues, Americans will be able to better enjoy our great national parks and wildlife refuges for generations to come." Of course, getting the people back on their feet is low on the list of priorities. Quote
Punter Posted March 10, 2006 Posted March 10, 2006 My favorite Gale Norton moment.... She was being asked about Alaska/Oil etc, (I think it was with Charlie Rose). Charlie - "How does oil get from Alaska to the lower 48?" Gale - "The Trans-Alaskan Pipeline" Charlie - "Does it go through Canada or to the coast?" Gale - "That is a good question. I'll have to find out" Quote
