Bringing that and my old TR rope with me for my multipitch climbs and tying the two at an anchor so i can repel further? is it worth it? the money? the old rope to be trusted? i know it adds wait to the climber that cleans the route cuz they have to cary the extra ropes but is it worth it? advise! thanks Quote
Johnny_Tuff Posted March 2, 2006 Posted March 2, 2006 Troll. Never trust anyone hailing from "Coloardo." Quote
ken4ord Posted March 2, 2006 Posted March 2, 2006 yep it's gotta be a troll, nobody would really ask that dumb of a question or would they? Quote
Phil K Posted March 2, 2006 Posted March 2, 2006 Blue it must be, nothing else. Green also, is acceptable. Or red. Yellow and purple also allowed. All you need to know is that. Quote
larrythellama Posted March 2, 2006 Posted March 2, 2006 down at ace boat rope is only .37$ a ft. Quote
mattp Posted March 2, 2006 Posted March 2, 2006 I'm not convinced that Mr. Up is either a troll or that he is asking stupid questions. Quote
Johnny_Tuff Posted March 2, 2006 Posted March 2, 2006 Ah, we are now up to two posts for the case that this person is serious and wants advice, but still zero helpful advice. Vive l'internet! Quote
Squid Posted March 2, 2006 Posted March 2, 2006 The more helpful responses all posted on this identical thread in Newbies. Quote
mattp Posted March 2, 2006 Posted March 2, 2006 Have you seen the other thread, Mr. Tuff? He's getting some advice there. He could be a troll, but I doubt it. Either way, I think it would be good for this board if people could ask questions - even dumb ones - without getting dogged on every time. Quote
Johnny_Tuff Posted March 2, 2006 Posted March 2, 2006 I dunno. It's not that asking for advice on a rope is inherently dumb; that's a legitimate question. It's just the stuff about it being a toprope, and looking for a used one on eBay, and the person being from "coloardo." Just sounded kind of suspicious, but whatever. Quote
Squid Posted March 2, 2006 Posted March 2, 2006 whenever Dru stops posting, I look at all the new posters with a jaded eye. Quote
